Tuesday Art ATTACK- Joseph Csatari “Before Baseball Practice”

Joseph Csatari is an extremely talented and accomplished American commercial illustrator and portrait artist. His captivating and expressive style is realistic with a whimsical flare. Csatrai was the protege of famed illustrator Norman Rockwell and was his assistant in Rockwell's later years. Csatrai took over for Rockwell as the Boy Scouts of America’s official painter in 1977 and continues to today. This painting is oil on Masonite and is a great example of his work.
