Tuesday Art ATTACK- Philippe Noyer "Woman with a Leopard in Hong Kong Harbor"
French artist Philippe Noyer was born in Lyon, France in 1917. He was educated at the Beaux Arts School of Lyon and Paul Colin School of Art in Paris. Noyer was well known for his lines and art deco style. Robert Goldstein the president of 20th Century Fox was a fan of his work and help Noyer gain fans in the United States. He had a popular series of prints in the 1970s-1980s. The "Woman with a Leopard in Hong Kong Harbor" was created as part of a print series. Noyer passed away in 1985.
