Tuesday Art ATTACK- Peter Phillips “The Random Illusion No. 6”
British Pop Artist Peter Phillips was born in Birmingham, England on May 21, 1939. Phillips studied art at the Birmingham School of Art and the Royal College of Art. While in school at the Royal College Phillips became interested in American pop culture and began creating dynamic montages. Phillips work has become internationally known and he is recognized as one of the pioneering Pop Artists. “The Random Illusion No. 6” was painted in 1969. He continues to paint and exhibit around the world.
