Tuesday Art ATTACK- Paul Grimm “Morning Sunlight”

South African born American artist Paul Grimm was born in 1891. When Grimm was still a child he and his parents moved to America. Southern California's deserts are beautifully captured in his paintings. Grimm mostly painted the deserts of Riverside County. His studio in his later career was in Palm Springs, California. "Morning Sunlight" was painted in oil in 1935 and shows Grimm's use of color and depth. In 1974 Grimm passed away in Palm Springs.
