This fabric of heavy weight linen oxford, is tie-dyed with Indian indigo by an artist of natural dying. The shimmering lines of the "Shibori" are like sound crests.
The world in the 1940s, was in commotion and supplies were scarce. These pants, worn as formal wear in England in the 1940s, are simply tailored. There are no belt loops, and the side buckles provide a comfortable fit. They are deep two-tucked and have a generous gutter and hem width. The pants have a rustic tailoring with a traditional look, and the minimal specifications allow for ease of movement.
